I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks, y'all.

I'm watching The Big Lebowski and eating Left over Mexican food. It seems like a decent way to spend the evening.

Way to go, meara!

Good plan, flea!

Also good plan, Calli!

I am overflowing with enthusiasm and exclamation points!

My broken report wasn't as awful to fix as I feared. Still not done, but progress has been made. My chef salad from yesterday did not fare too well, I think the lettuce got frozen at some point (before yesterday, probably, although who knows what the work fridge does overnight). I'll probably still eat it, but it doesn't look too appetizing.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

My folks are coming through town this weekend, so cleaning is going on.

Yup, that lettuce was inedible. Everything else was pretty much salvageable, but didn't really add up to a satisfying meal.

Hey, does blue cheese count as a cultured/fermented food?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hey, does blue cheese count as a cultured/fermented food?

I'd assume so.

I'm going to take Hil's answer as definitive, because it's what I want to hear. Healthfood!

I baked a couple of small sweet potatoes for dinner, so I sprinkled pumpkin pie spice on one and five spice powder on the other, for science, but then I forgot which was which. Will have to repeat the experiment. Fortunately, I see a lot of small sweet potatoes in my future.

Dinner for me tonight is a summer salad, roasted red pepper and basil quinoa, and baked salmon with a lime juice and maple syrup glaze.
