Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm sorry Calli, how awful

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sounds good to me! Jesse, can you wait until I can assemble an uber-box?

Of course! But if we're re-starting the original box, I guess we should re-start the original list?

And because the tone difference was too jarring for one post: OMG adorbs to see -t shake her pom poms at meara!

People, pear season is upon us! It is one of my favorite things about fall. I am really really trying to consciously eat better, less refined sugar, way less meat, lots more fruits and vegetables. Has anyone tried the Greens and Beans and Grains thing at TJs? I find it tasty.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I have Too Much To Do, but have accidentally fallen into an Etsy-style Rabbit Hole. Thought of you, Teppy...

Cute!

There may be people who want to drop off the list, or have enough polish, etc. So when I get the box from Jilli, I'll make another post to see who was on the original list and still wants to be on it. It's been a little while, so people might not even remember!

Greens and beans and grains? No, I don't think so! I do loooove the spelt risotto stuff though. Had some the other day.

I got all the expenses done! It took 5 hours and all my energy and I still have 5 reports to write. Three of which are overdue. Will probably take at least 5 hours to write those. No energy or motivation left. Oops. I'm going to take a break and hope I can at least knock out a couple of them today?

information libertarian

I am trying to psych myself up to go to the networking happy hour at my conference. I am not a natural networked and 6pm is not my best time of day (I am honestly better at 6 am.) But the big girl thing to do is go and set a goal of talking to x number of people and staying at least an hour, right? Then I can go read romance novels in my jammies in bed.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks, y'all.

I'm watching The Big Lebowski and eating Left over Mexican food. It seems like a decent way to spend the evening.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Way to go, meara!

Good plan, flea!

Also good plan, Calli!

I am overflowing with enthusiasm and exclamation points!

My broken report wasn't as awful to fix as I feared. Still not done, but progress has been made. My chef salad from yesterday did not fare too well, I think the lettuce got frozen at some point (before yesterday, probably, although who knows what the work fridge does overnight). I'll probably still eat it, but it doesn't look too appetizing.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

My folks are coming through town this weekend, so cleaning is going on.

Yup, that lettuce was inedible. Everything else was pretty much salvageable, but didn't really add up to a satisfying meal.
