Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Universe, stop giving my friends crappy days, please. Thank you.

Oh mac, please get your head screwed on straight.

Matt, all the health~ma to your friend.

This shouldn't be so difficult, but I'm waffling on what to do. I have to be in Columbus on Wednesday for a 2:30 pm meeting. It's a six-hour drive, boss said fly, but now I don't know if I should get up at the ass-crack of dawn to leave at 6 am to land at 11:20 am that day or fly in the night before.

I always fly in the night before because getting up to be at the airport by 5am for a 6am flight means I'm a zombie all day.

Thanks, meara. That's what I was thinking, but I'm incapable of reasoning properly today.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Yeah, if you have that choice, it seems like a much better option.

Our wings are not tired.

Maria, go the night before.

I inherited a porch cat when I bought this place. He has his food, water, toys, and a heated mat on his private couch all on my porch.

Yesterday I watched (via Dropcam) a new neighbor's black cat come up and totally do a Goldilocks! Black cat ate Romeo's food, drank his water, slept for two hours on his heated mat, and played with every single toy (way more than Romeo). Am still laughing.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

The kickstarter project I'm writing for went live this morning. I am NERVOUS.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Maria, agree with go the night before. If your flight is delayed, you still have options.

These RFPs are eating away my ability to do anything except price and write RFP-speak. Thanks, all.

So, anyone want to get dinner in Columbus next Tuesday?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Best to your cousin, Matt.

I am filled with indecision about a TON of travel -- I kind of want to go everywhere, but part of that is just wanting to mix things up, which is not a great reason. So I guess not NYC for the 14, and not Sierra Leone in November. But I think yes Bay Area the week of the 19th, and maybe I'll take a little extra time so I can see people!
