Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

Dammit cats, your poo is not a soccer ball to be kicked around the apartment for your entertainment! Why not play with the perfectly good cat toys I've bought for you?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Bad cat!

Ew, Matt!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Cat Rule #33: Anything that is not nailed down can be a cat toy.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That behavior is not on keeping with the feline reputation for fastidiousness. Although not playing with the perfectly good purchased cat toys most definitely is standard cat protocol.

When my alarm went off this morning I was absolutely certain that I had made a mistake in my settings and today was really Saturday. I should have gone with that.

I was absolutely certain that I had made a mistake in my settings and today was really Saturday.

My alarm was set for 6-ish. When did I actually wake up? 8-ish. I'm on my way to the office now even though my brain is mush.

As expected, since I'm finally home for the first time in about three weeks, I have zero motivation to do work. But I know I will not have any MORE motivation this weekend. And stuff is overdue (including things like expense reports!). But all I wanna do is be on my couch and not think hard.

Mac - dude. It is for your own good to turn things in and put effort into your classes. It does not get easier. Build good habits now.

Msbelle - I'm so sorry. So frustrating. CJ is just NOW realizing he needs better study and organization habits. Thankfully I can't check his grades. If they slip, he gets kicked out of the program, so we will see what happens.

Also - fuck cancer in the ear with a rusty pitchfork.

I woke up with THE WORST headache. It hasn't gone migraine, thankfully, and so far Ibuprofen is allowing me to work as I have way too much to do.

In other fuck cancer news, my cousin has found out his liver cancer is recurring after two years in cancer-free remission. I believe this is his fourth bout with cancer (the first was an unconnected brain tumor that messed up his sight in one eye), and he'll be going in for an ablation to deal with it soon. Any spare health~ma sent his way would be greatly appreciated.
