I know, but it does kinda mean that looks were/are important to me on some level. Not that that's the worst thing in the world either but... uh... kinda superficial.
So I let my girl walk to school this morning and asked her to text me when she got there. Just heard the school bell and no text yet. I realize that it doesn't mean she was kidnapped by the bogeyman, she just forgot, but ugh! Will be at the back of my mind for a few hours, until we pass the time frame for that call from the school telling me "my child was absent or tardy for one or more periods today." That usually comes in around 10.

I don't literally feel your pain today, meara, but I certainly have. I used to be like clockwork and now that I am not, early or late are equally aggravating. I never know what to expect.
