So I let my girl walk to school this morning and asked her to text me when she got there. Just heard the school bell and no text yet. I realize that it doesn't mean she was kidnapped by the bogeyman, she just forgot, but ugh! Will be at the back of my mind for a few hours, until we pass the time frame for that call from the school telling me "my child was absent or tardy for one or more periods today." That usually comes in around 10.

Not really. If you only dated/married him because of his looks, THAT would be kinda superficial. Attraction is a combination of physical and mental. He could be the hottest guy in the world, but if he's a dick, then nope. Or he could be average-looking, but when he opens his mouth, you're amazed by his wit and kindness and empathy, and suddenly he makes Hugh Jackman look plain.
