Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My fucking job, I swear. The details are too stupid to get into, but I should always remember how important informal networks are here.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Completely unrelated: in my last purchase of candy to keep on my desk I picked up some 3 Musketeers that are apparently special for Halloween, labeled "Muskefears" and with the filling died red (well, it's supposed to be red, it's pretty much pink). My coworker who discovered this thinks they taste different, too, I am not familiar enough with the regular kind to be sure.

Anyway, I can't figure out what the reasoning is to turning the insides red to make it more spooky. If it's to make it, like, bloody when you bite into it, it does not give that effect at all.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I took a sick day and slept til 11. I feel like I've been kicked in the ribs repeatedly.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I took a sick day and have been trying to sleep but I can't. Stupid sinuses.

Neither of those sound good. I hope you feel better soon!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Since I'm also not feeling well, I just made a mug of the office green tea. It tastes like grass. Ew.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am so stressed out at work. Lots and lots of mistakes being made and no one seemingly caring to try to fix. I know I am high strung and DO when there is a time constraint and/or things going wrong and I really do not do well with a team that lacks urgency and ownership. FIX YOUR FUCKING MISTAKES!!!

But no, I am the fixer AND THEN THE LECTURER! Looks of disdain are being handed out freely.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Well, I am signed up to take an introductory Krav Maga class on Saturday for 2 hours. I'm sure that I will be woefully out of shape and not very good at it at first, but I like to believe that ita will be watchincg or knowing somehow, and approving.

I've always been fascinated by taking Krav Maga and admired ita for her expertise in it so this is for her and this is also definitely for me. It'll be an interesting experience.

not your mom's socks.

I let all the batteries in all my iThings run out so that by 9:30am this morning I could not do anything online and DH and I took a walk and had lunch together. iThings recharged, because obvs.

It felt vaguely human. Also, have stopped moving about the country for a week.

I hope everyone is feeling better soon!
