I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Forget decorative gourds, it's pillow fort season!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

...motherfucker.

It's now late enough in the year that when I get up for my 7AM meeting, it's dark. Boooooo.

Give it a couple of weeks, and it might be lighter in the morning, but darker in the afternoon! YAY! (Boooo.)

It's weird, it's not like the sun was hiding the fact that it's moving across the sky, just all of a sudden you notice how dark it is in the morning and evening.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm a numbers geek, so every day I check to see when the sun sets. I think I'll go back to having the sunset time always display on my Apple Watch.

Oh, I've been noticing. I feed the cats at sunset and I get up early enough that I am pretty much always aware of when sunrise is.

Man, I love getting an email that starts out with "I know you worked with me on this project a few weeks ago" when in fact I did not. Do I tell her that? I don't think it really matters for what she's asking for now, but I definitely do not know all the background.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I much prefer waking up when it's dark to going home from work in the dark. I'd vote for DST all year long.

That's kind of cool and intense, flea. I remember when the kid I used to babysit started writing for The New Yorker.

We leave the house at 6:45 to catch the high school bus. The sun is currently rising at 7:30. And we're only at the equinox. SIGH.

Wow. The sun rose today at 6:49 here.

We get sunrise, then we get "the sun clears the mountains". I like the time when it's more than visible enough to drive without headlights and the direct sunlight. But the way I can tell summer is over is when I can stand in the direct sunlight and go "Oh, nice" instead of "The orb! It burns!"
