The only way I can handle eating low carbs is to keep a ready supply of roasted nuts handy.
I am very sad that I can't eat nuts anymore. Or haven't quite figured out which ones might still be okay, at any rate. I have amassed a nice collection of sunflower seed, pumpkin seeds, peanuts, and coconut chips that is pretty tasty. Didn't bring any with me today, though.
I just called to get a moving quote and the guy was away from his desk. I feel like I'm being thwarted in my onerous tasks. Come on, universe! I'm trying to do the thing.
I'm going to eat junk food and try again in a little bit.

I am not low carb, and that's one of my favourite snacks.

Nuts and seeds and nut and seed butters have been very important on my gestational diabetes diet. Especially since I need to have protein with meals and many of the things I would normally count as a protein (milk, beans, etc) actually count as carbs.
