Stayed out and socialized longer than I should have tonight, and now I'm just a bundle of nerves. Stooopid introversion.
'Why We Fight'
Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Sorry about the nerves. I hope it was fun while you were out, and you have time to relax and recover now.

Ugh, TomW has this too, it's like he gets the bends coming out of a social situation. Stressful. Maybe try something (movie, TV show) to get your mind off the playback? Or maybe I not try to fix things? (it's my habit in this situation in my day to day life)

Huh.
So, I feel some of you will appreciate this: had a lunch date. We drank a carafe of mimosas which seemed to have almost no OJ in them. And then decided we should go to the spa. So spent the next two hours naked in a hot tub/sauna. Like you do.
Sounds like a good date, meara
not only did I pack away my excess dinnerware into recognizable dinnerware-holding boxes, I labeled them well enough that I could find the wine glasses on the first try. Well done, past -t!
Well done indeed! My day on the other hand was spent unpacking boxes that were all stored away when my MiL died. They were all labeled "Glass" and held a variety of dishes, cups, mugs, and decorative figurines. Argh! I boxed up 2/3 of it again and readied it for donation, and swapped out our chipped plate collection for my MiL's old Corelle dishes.

The what?!
My 18 year old niece just posted her first drinking at college photo on Facebook.

Meh.
More office news: I have assured George, who came second, that there is no shame in having lost to a six-year old. After all, he's a fairly bright six-year old. Oh, and one of the Operations staff (who won the comp for the last four years running, and after a strong late showing, finished just one tip behind Ryan) made him a certificate proclaiming him to be the winner of the tipping comp. the little boy was all smiles when he received it.
More news, almost as momentous: Biyi's parents' permanent residency has been approved! They may now travel freely between China and Australia, which both share the honor of having been the subject of a Discworld novel. I'm sure that's significant somehow.
That's great, bt!
