I'm awake. And drinking coffee. And contemplating yard work. Ugh. But last outdoor swim of the season today!
Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
It would appear that the big obstacle between me and gym-before-work is needing to get dressed twice. Choosing two outfits. Not that my gym nor my work are particularly fashion-conscious places, but this is a particular bugbear of mine.
It seems like something I could figure out a way to overcome, but I don't know if it'll happen today.
OTOH, leisurely breakfast and coffee, very pleasant.
It must be pear season. I got pears in my box from the farm last week and my grocery delivery threw in a bag of pears as complimentary samples. Delicious.
Poking my head in to say, look at this! [link]
An homage?
I kinda miss the blinky under construction icons.
Oh shit. I have a cat on me.
Timelies all!
Ugh. Woke up a couple times with stomach/abdominal pain. It seems to come and go. My back and legs hurt as well.

I hate changing clothes, especially for a short period of time. I have a fat, ungainly body, which is amply demonstrated as I flail around covering it up for public non-consumption.
I cannot pin down why deciding what I'm going to wear is such a chore for me, but part of it is that I have to consider, at least a little bit, how other people are going to perceive me.
Once I am dressed and out in the world that hardly ever crosses my mind.
Swam my mile today. -t, I totally agree. The only solution for me is to put both sets of clothes aside the night before.
I woke up today without having done that and was 15 minutes late to the pool.
-t, if you limit the options would that help? If the gym clothes were all the same? Like a gym uniform.
Yeah, putting out clothes the night before makes so much sense, but I have not figured out how to make that work for me, yet.
