Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I had the most amazing lamb shank for dinner. Now I'm just waiting for the plane to push back. Not giving up my Internet until that door closes.
In asshole news, there were two guys sitting in the row in front of me, older dudes, just camping out in the extra room seats hoping no one would notice. This isn't Southwest, jackholes. Bummer for them a grandma, in a wheelchair, and her grandson had those seats.
Mmmm, lamb shank.
Enjoy your ham salad and fix, Connie (I assume you have successfully combined them by now).
Soon, soon my dinner will be ready. I'm certainly interested to see how it turns out. And hungry.
OMG I am so tired, I don't know how to keep functioning. Frances is almost done with her homework, thank goodness. Not sure how long I can keep up the stand-by support staff position.
I assume you have successfully combined them by now
I may even trick myself into getting second helpings.
The lovely fic has Bucky Barnes somehow transformed into a cat, which Steve has dumped on Tony with no time to explain things as he was off to hunt Hydra. So Tony, who actually loves cats, is catsitting what he thinks is a normal cat which unfortunately has PTSD and three legs. Bucky likes Tony, but the Winter Soldier is still in there, and he does not like being startled. The reader knows the cat is actually Bucky but doesn't know why he's a cat--yet.
Anyone have a boy that will likely be in 14 or 14/16 next summer? I have 3 barely worn swimsuits.
Rebecca, my 10 year old is currently wearing size 12. I am hoping they last through a second summer but who knows? He's growing crazy fast.
Going back to the cheese discussion, I broke into the Cowgirl creamery sampler cheese I bought on Sunday, so now I have 4 open cheeses (I had some TJs goat cheese already).
National Dog Day or not, Charlie is not getting any, much to his dismay
Yay airport massage, Suzi!
I went for a walk with a friend and we took the path less traveled and accidentally ended up two miles away from home and facing an uphill walk...so she made me call an uber. :) now I'm going to go dance!
Oh, man, I completely failed at National Dog Day. Sorry, Walter. At least you got to lick some mixing bowls and pans?
I guess dinner could be described as a deconstructed meatloaf. Was not the intention. But, hey, edible. Of course, the downside of making 6 servings at a time is it will be a while before I make this again; I hope I can remember the valuable lessons learned.
Tim got a dental implant yesterday and has a sore mouth, so, since I am not cooking 2 separate meals (1 soft for Tim, 1 whatever I want, since I can crunch), I ate the mushy food he requested (scrambled eggs with some cheese and an avocado diced on top, with a big unholy spinach/berry smoothie on the side).
I think my belly actually wanted some meat. Too late now.
