Yay airport massage, Suzi!
I went for a walk with a friend and we took the path less traveled and accidentally ended up two miles away from home and facing an uphill walk...so she made me call an uber. :) now I'm going to go dance!

Oh, man, I completely failed at National Dog Day. Sorry, Walter. At least you got to lick some mixing bowls and pans?
I guess dinner could be described as a deconstructed meatloaf. Was not the intention. But, hey, edible. Of course, the downside of making 6 servings at a time is it will be a while before I make this again; I hope I can remember the valuable lessons learned.
Tim got a dental implant yesterday and has a sore mouth, so, since I am not cooking 2 separate meals (1 soft for Tim, 1 whatever I want, since I can crunch), I ate the mushy food he requested (scrambled eggs with some cheese and an avocado diced on top, with a big unholy spinach/berry smoothie on the side).
I think my belly actually wanted some meat. Too late now.
I love egg and avocado together. mmm.
That does sound pretty delicious. Sorry you didn't get your meat, though, Tep.. I think squeezing my meatloaf approximation through the interwebs would be really gross, so I won't offer.
It was pretty tasty; avocado goes so well on scrambled eggs. I was just having a futless sort of what-do-I-want-for-dinner feeling, where I knew I didn't really want what I was making, but I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I ate what I made. It was only later that meat sounded really good. Like ribs. Mmmm, ribs.
I think the missing ingredient of my ham salad was a good ranch dressing--or just buttermilk. But the next iteration will have some Litehouse Ranch tossed in. Om nom nom.
I love scrambled eggs and avocado. That Vox anti-detox diet has a scrambled eggs & avocado on wheat toast breakfast that is super yum.
Tonight we made green chile cheesebread! With proper Hatch green chiles, of course. Super yum.
I'm currently watching an old Doctor Who adventure, The Space Museum. (Very old, it's from 1965.) The commentary track has the writer and two of the regular actors. Thay are absolutely savaging the director and the script editor. Moved on from criticising them to just openly mocking them.
Connie, that fic sounds fun. Would you mind posting a link when you have a chance, please?
