Oh msbelle, I can so get that. Sorry mad mac, mom is right!
Yep. Right with you msbelle!
Happy birthdays!
Yay for pretty colored hair!
I'm exhausted and heading to bed. Zoe decided that breaking the screen out of the porch and getting herself hit by a car was a good idea. She will be okay. She broke a chip off her shoulder and has a couple good gashes in her chest that will all heal. Vet says she will be ouchy for a while. I'll build a ramp up the steps before I pick her up tomorrow. I was mostly concerned about her staying at the vet's because as a rescue she has severe anxiety about small or enclosed spaces. The vet promised she was going to be so loopy on morphine that she would think she was in doggie heaven. Dogs. Kids. Stressful stuff.
Ugh. Laura, poor you and Zoe!
ZOE! Not cool, baby girl.
Hope you had a wonderful birthday, Strix!
msbelle, you're right and mac will understand someday. Like that helps with the angry teenager now.
ZOE, NO. Good gosh, I'm glad she's okay.
I'm glad she's going to be ok. Jeez.
I love the spirit of this city. A weekly illegal dirt bike ride got shut down again by police (I hold complex and contradictory feels about this, suffice to say, authorities could handle it better than they do and the rides do have their good points) and so a group of guys decide to RIDE HORSES down Penn & north like they'd ride bikes. Including falling off. I just can't stop laughing. iPod, black dude on horse riding past a burnt out CVS, jamming out. Cheers from people filming them. I love this city.
Oh, poor Zoe! I hope she heals quickly.
Happy, a little belated, birthday, Strix!
Much ~ma for Zoe.
My cheap car without a ton of miles alert went off on this morning. (We're not really looking for one anymore, but I haven't canceled the alert yet). If Em was actually planning to start driving now that she's 16, I'd be all over this one.

Big, tough, and it makes everyone around you slow down.
