see it is stuff like that that keeps me going to my crazy Bundy supporting free-citizen whatever lady. It's a good cut, It's $40 and I am in and out in less than an hour usually.

My last haircut and color was in December. At the time I intended to keep it up. Hah!
We went to a John Mellencamp concert tonight it was ltc's birthday gift to TCG. It was lots of fun. The opening act was Cassie Carter, June Carter's daughter, who was excellent. Tomorrow morning is going to come way too early.
I just listed stuff on Craigslist for the first time. What are the chances I'll actually get this stuff out the door before new furniture arrives on Friday?
I get my hair cut pretty much every 2 months. I'm booked 2 appts out. But I have short hair, I can only make Saturday appts, my stylist is almost always full booked, so we do what we do. We're now up to $50 plus tip, but I'm fine with that, after almost 2 decades of letting her do what she wants and being pleased with the results.
I swear sara and I must be seeing the same hairstylist, thousands of miles apart. The only difference is that I've had the same stylist for only a decade.
My stylist is in a salon in a department store at the mall across the street from my old job. So it was SUPER easy to get my hair trimmed once every 4-6 weeks. But now it's a good 20-25 minutes away, and the cut grows out well, so I just trim my own bangs and *intend* to get it cut but then let months go by.

My last cut and color was April, before I went to Chicago for work. But I got about 3 inches cut on Saturday and I am SO happy with it. And I intend to get it colored again before Thanksgiving so that it looks all shiny for the holidays. We'll see.

I've had the same stylist for 23 years, since I got out of college. Also the same primary-care doctor. Neither of them are allowed to ever retire. (I suspect they're both 10 years older than me or less, so they should be working for quite a while longer.)
Thanks for the reminder that I need to touch base with my stylist. I need to see if we can shift the time a bit so I can get to PT on time that day. If not, I have to reschedule which will suck. I don't even need a cut, I just need to get my bangs relightened/dyed.
I was sitting in my office wondering what to have for lunch, when the oven beeped to remind me I was literally in the middle of cooking pasta chicken. Guess I haven't really woken up today.
I have been fussing over whether I have enough and sturdy enough boxes for all my books, whether I'm overloading boxes, whether the moving guys will be annoyed with me, etc. Last night I said "screw it" and bought a bunch of plastic bins with lids that I can put my books into that I know will hold the weight. Possibly not as conveniently stackable, and possibly more durable than I'll need, but the saving in anxiety is more than worth it.
Took an hour and a half to get a five-minute test for carpal tunnel. It involved more electricity and needles than I'd really prefer, but the neurologist judged it a mild case with no permanent nerve damage. Hopefully this means no surgery.
