They're showing Trump talking to his family, and the Clintons are talking to the audience.
Something that was painfully clear tonight - Drumpf doesn't give a fuck about anything other than being on TV. Every question that was answered, he answered towards the camera. Meanwhile, Clinton directed her answers to the people who had asked them. The second the debate was over and he no longer had a mic, Drumpf & fam made a beeline for the door. Both Clintons stayed to shake hands and take pictures with the audience.
When he was circling her, all I could think (besides FUCKING CREEPY) was that he actually could not control himself and stay away from the camera for 2 minutes.
Two. Minutes.
The weirdest part: all those disposable cameras after the debate. Wtf?
Tep, do you watch the Wire now? Or is that "best not miss" thing just out there now?(Either way, I approve)

Probably smartphones weren't allowed.

It's just out there, although I did know it was from The Wire. Omar, right?

A co-worker on FB asked if he was doing the pee pee dance.
Yeah, that's Omar. Black, gay, and armed--Trump's nightmare.
Cool...maybe Simon going on about the zeitgeist wasn't just him being my very favorite pretentious egomaniac...okay, mostly. But he made it anyway. Go him.(I so loved it when Colbert brought his Emmy to the interview and said "You know you wanna touch it,")
I think you'd love The Wire, but I admit I'm tiresome like an evangelist about it, and it can be slow. Like "Here's that thing from two seasons ago."

So true. The Donald fans were thrilled to pieces about his clear and decisive win. Really. He didn't pick up a single new fan, but his core couldn't be happier. Grateful that it is a percentage too small to actually win the election. Hugs prediction sites close.
My concern is that the red states are going to be even more angry and divisiveness worse than ever when this election is finally behind us.
I worry about after the election too. Too many people are already convinced the election is rigged. There are too many people in this country that make a living off of outrage.
I feel good about the fact that HRC's percentage went up again on the NYT site and the Princeton Consortium site.

It wouldn't be any different if Sanders had gotten the nomination. The Trump supporters who are angry and divisive would be like this with anyone who fills the DEM slot of NotTrump.
And yup, I get that HRC is a woman, and there will be a special kind of horrific misogyny thrown at her, just like Pres. Obama has had horrific racism thrown his way. But I still don't think this would be any different with any other DEM candidate. No DEM candidate exists who could mollify the angry Trump supporters. Not after the way he's exploited their concerns and fears and whipped them into a frenzy.
