Timelies all!
I know I've gained weight over the last few years. Some of the recent weight gain is because I don't get regular structured exercise. I used to use the treadmill in the basement a couple times a week after work. Now, because I have to pick up the little guy from daycare, I get home later. Also, since he's so mobile, he gets into everything, which is why having him in the basement is a bad idea.
Hi Karl!
Have that fancy drink, Jesse.
You know how it feels after a hard day (or week, or month, or ...) to walk into a room full of people who are genuinely glad to see you but don't press you into immediate and intrusive conversations?
My people, how I have missed you. Don't mind me, I'll just be over in the corner soaking up the Natter vibe.
Hi, Karl! Good to see your pixels.
Is it silly to take a nap at 6:30pm? I'll be up all night but I'm okay with that. It's a weekend where I have no plans.
Zenkitty, choose the power of nap. It's the only way I get through the day these days.
Instead of going out for food, I am being responsible and having a Boca burger and a scrambled egg. Except it has to COOK and I'm hungry NOW.
I'm putting forth the effort to make gluten-free drop biscuits so that I can make biscuits and gravy because of Cashmere's goddamn Facebook post with the picture of biscuits and gravy.
I am so suggestible.
Hi Karl!
I'm still doing Pokémon, and it's been great for my steps. Most days I do at least three kilometers, and on weekends I've been getting in some 5k walks. It doesn't seem to have affected my waist these past two months, but sometimes I feel better. And I've only had one serious insomnia night, so I'm calling it a win.
I've been trying Fitress Marshall videos on YouTube for exercise. For a few songs I have only been able to march in place and do the arm movements. But the guy is funny and his back up dancers have different skill levels and body shapes so that's cool.
Hi karl.
