"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Molar teething continues to suck this morning.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What do chicken-sacrificers do with the remains of the chicken? Do they eat it, or is it supposed to be for the gods? How do the gods consume it? I'm confused by the logistics here.

So I found my way to santeriachurch.org, and that says just the blood is offered to the gods, and people eat the meat. Other stuff, it looks like you just leave on the altar.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I did fall asleep 6ish so got about 5 hours in there. I could sleep more, but I made a list of things to do while I was awake AND I am going to the gym since I skipped yesterday.

I need to start vacuuming and mopping. I don't wanna ( which is why I've been on the couch the last 2 hours.)

According to the fitbit, I slept for 4 hours and 46 minutes, which is sadly average for me.

Man, the kids down the street would be a great source of one of those "why is my kid crying" blogs. Among reasons yesterday were "My dad told me not to run in the street." I really like the parents, and also the kids! But they do cry a lot for no apparent reason.

The status is NOT quo.

Would be SO sad if Scrappy moves, though I completely support and understand why.

Would be SO PSYCHED is msbelle moved into their (amazing, btw) house.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, football. It's gonna be like that already?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Hmph. I rarely shop for clothes unless my current ones are worn out or otherwise don't fit. But I've been pretty good about the exercise and had a little extra money at the end of last month, so I decided to treat myself to a couple of things I saw in the Coldwater Creek catalog. I checked eight different things, and most of them were listed as not available until December. None were available before mid-October. WtF? Has Amazon spoiled me? Is a month wait standard for mass produced clothes these days? I poked around a few other places and didn't see things I wanted. It was so nice to see cotton-based, machine washable clothes that weren't see-through, ugly, sleeveless, above the knee, or unavailable in my size (well, except for the unavailable in anyone's size aspect, I guess). So I'm a bit disappointed.
