I don't give half a hump if you're innocent or not. So where does that put you?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Cass, I'm so happy the twins are home and safe. Can you all take the long weekend to recuperate from the stress?

I blogged some opinions about the economic policy.

It's so thoughtful of my sinuses to remind me that a tropical storm is imminent.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

FDA Bans Antibacterial Soaps.

Good! I hear people say they use them because what can it hurt? In terms of rising antibiotic resistance, they can hurt a fair bit. (See also antibiotics in meat animals and antibiotics for people with viruses.)

I blogged some opinions about the economic policy.

Nice! I have a knee-jerk "that's nonsense" reaction to hearing those policies, and it's nice to see a more thoughtful discussion.

It's so thoughtful of my sinuses to remind me that a tropical storm is imminent.

Yeah, my boobs do the same thing these days.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Seriously. Makes me crazy.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Our pre-holiday early release is extra early today, hooray! I just need to run a couple of reports and I am out of here. I plan to open a bottle of wine, have my spaghetti and meatball lunch, and leisurely garden this afternoon, perhaps putter around the garage.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think when I said "wheat" before I meant "oats". Whichever plant, driving up 395 last week around 4pm we could look out the window and say "yeah, that color"

What do oats even look like when they're growing? I am disturbed to realize I have no idea.

Which waves of grain are amber?

We never get early release here, which makes me kind of nuts. I told my team they could leave an hour early, whatever that means for them.
