Dad was married to mom by then and she'd go out and do her thing and he'd do his. He was a big harmless flirt with no intentions, one of the reasons her sisters adored him.

While they were at Harvard, mom, for a period, used to loan out my dad as chaperon for her girlfriends' blind dates. Except it backfired. oh my gosh, Cass, such good news! So glad the kids are back and everyone is safe!
I just had a really nice meal with some friends and tomorrow is my day off and it was a busy stressful week and I'm so happy I get to sleep in a bit and then take the dog for a run in the woods. YAY.
