Had a great day today, I went over to Memphis to see the Absolutely Fabulous movie (hilarious, by the way), and had a surprise date end up coalescing. Not a lot of sparks of the heated variety, but he's nice and we seemed to hit it off in friendly fashion, so who knows? He also suggested my favorite Moroccan restaurant, which was a definite tick in the plus column.

I remember the Anne Richards ads (we got Tx tv.)
I need to ask my mom about her arthritis in her arms and hands that manifested in her 20s. Been having weirdass aches in my knuckles. Taping overnight helps. Entirely possible just an RSI thing, it's the hand I use for my turns and I've been screwing those up a lot lately due to the water levels varying.
Texas is light red right now, according to 538. Maybe they're taking a shot at turning it blue.

I think they're going for the down ballot votes.
But Georgia looks like it's up for grabs.
Oh Sheryl, not fun when they are so little. At least they seem to often get well as quickly as they get sick. I hope he is completely well quickly.
Texas was showing about a 5 point spread in June and he has alienated a bunch more people since then, so who knows. There is a significant % of voters in the hate Trump groups - 32% Hispanic.
Timelies all!
The little guy has been discharged from the hospital and is now causing mischief at home. We'll keep him home from daycare a couple of days, and bring him to the pediatrician for a followup.
Good to hear, Sheryl.
Can I get some generic mood~ma please? Yesterday I went down to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday, which went OK, I guess, but this morning I'm really feeling blah, plus my analyst is away next week because that's what analysts do in August, plus I'm fighting off a summer cold.
Ugh, that's a lot of blah, Tom. I hope you feel better.
I can't see Texas going blue unless there's a big enough Johnson contingent to spoil the R vote.
California is the land of no political commercials ever. Too expensive I guess? Even Brown ran some sort of Zen-like stealth campaign: zero ads, just watch Meg Whitman implode and win by a landslide.
Sorry about the blahs, Tom
Non~blah~ma, Tom.
Had a delightful beach front lunch with Pix and Drew. Now I don't have to eat the rest of the day. Not used to eating so much at once so I am really overstuffed. We are total screw ups however because we neglected to get a single picture. Too busy enjoying the company and scenery.
