Had a delightful beach front lunch with Pix and Drew. Now I don't have to eat the rest of the day. Not used to eating so much at once so I am really overstuffed. We are total screw ups however because we neglected to get a single picture. Too busy enjoying the company and scenery.
Watching a lot of random Olympics...but also flipped past and saw "The Faculty" is on--it has a shocking number of people in it! In addition of course to my favorite, Clea DuVall--I'd forgotten that not only does it also have Jordanna Brewster (another fave), it has Bebe Neuwirth, Famke Janssen, Salma Hayek, Usher, Jon Steward, Elijah Wood, and a few others. Huh.
holy fucking christ it's hot outside.
I saw that in the theater because of the cast, I think. Do not remember a thing about the plot or anything, though.

I finally got a thing done that I had hoped to accomplish yesterday afternoon. Yay? Now to reprioritize my tasks for the rest of today to be somewhat realistic...
Went for a long hike in the woods, ate lunch, and put new sheets on the bed. That's enough for today, right? Oh, wait, no, I have to vacuum. And make biscuits.
Who even thought up synchronized diving?
I don't know Dana, but I hate it. I just want the individual diving.
I just went to a synchronized swimming play! It was awesome, so phbbbbt.
Oh, I like watching it, it's just one of those nutso Olympic sports.
