Oh Sheryl, not fun when they are so little. At least they seem to often get well as quickly as they get sick. I hope he is completely well quickly.
Texas was showing about a 5 point spread in June and he has alienated a bunch more people since then, so who knows. There is a significant % of voters in the hate Trump groups - 32% Hispanic.

I can't see Texas going blue unless there's a big enough Johnson contingent to spoil the R vote.
California is the land of no political commercials ever. Too expensive I guess? Even Brown ran some sort of Zen-like stealth campaign: zero ads, just watch Meg Whitman implode and win by a landslide.

Had a delightful beach front lunch with Pix and Drew. Now I don't have to eat the rest of the day. Not used to eating so much at once so I am really overstuffed. We are total screw ups however because we neglected to get a single picture. Too busy enjoying the company and scenery.

Watching a lot of random Olympics...but also flipped past and saw "The Faculty" is on--it has a shocking number of people in it! In addition of course to my favorite, Clea DuVall--I'd forgotten that not only does it also have Jordanna Brewster (another fave), it has Bebe Neuwirth, Famke Janssen, Salma Hayek, Usher, Jon Steward, Elijah Wood, and a few others.
