I fed off a flowerperson, and I spent the next six hours watchin' my hand move.

Listening to strangers talk diet, badly and fadly and smugly makes me roll my eyes forever. Hope I don't end up anywhere near them. Ugh.

Thrive to spite them

I really need a haircut.

I mowed the lawn (well most of it, there were parts I couldn't get to because I couldn't find the second extension cord but you can't see those well. I weed whacked.

I've taken a shower. I made a phone call. That was important. I went to bed at a reasonable time last night and got up at my "regular" time today so that's good.

I ordered replacement filters for the vacuum. So I can't finish deep vacuuming until those get here. But I've been sending the roomba out for a few spins.

Penny has been wallowing in one particular spot and her fur is kinda...not matted...but it's become very close with the carpet. The roomba can't quite pick it up.I plan on working on dishes later today.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Woo productivity! Gold stars, y'all!

I have taken Walter for a walk and done one round of dishes (about to do another) and scratched Jadzia behind the ears several times. She is demanding love today, a combination of the cool weather and me being home, I imagine.

brillig

Have shipped off eBay stuff, paying the rent, going to clean the bedroom until time to sit in an air conditioned theater and watch Jurassic World again, then come back and wash dishes

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm in Madison. When my sister gets here we're driving to Clintonville for our Mom's birthday, which is the 4th.

I have a weird tiny muscle in my back that is twingey in a horribly painful way (except small, so not overall that bad). It's driving me nuts (I blame sitting on the couch to work this week, because it was too hot in my office).

I should do productive things today, because I'm very busy tomorrow. But instead I think I'll shop. :)

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Sadly, the cats did not rouse me, just the incessant vibrating of my Fitbit alarm.

Sara, I have no farting people near me on my flight. Thank goodness for small favors?

Line of reasoning I apparently consider completely reasonable: it's 10 am and I'm unusually hungry, but that seems too early for lunch, so instead I'll fix myself...a banana split. Just so you know how much weight to give any advice or opinions I might share.
