What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

From 5-7, I seriously thought about going to the pool. But in the end, actually getting out of bed proved a hurdle too great.

Have to dry my hair and put away electronics, but then I'll be packed. Should rouse my driver/ fellow traveler, unless the cats have already managed that...

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Do poppy seeds even have a taste?

Dreams and melancholy. Goes well with lemon.

So all week long I've been struggling to get up with my alarm in time to make it to work, and today when I could sleep in it woke me ALL the way up at 7 and I've been doing laundry and feeding the cats. This is why we can't have nice things, brain.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

That happened to me, too!

hip deep in pie

Ironically, my alarm completely failed to go off this morning, and I woke up at 8:20. I was at work just after 9, so it wasn't too horrible.

Except for the part where I am so tired and completely unmotivated.

Coding and Sleeping

The impossible happened, I actually got my missing W-2. I already filed using a form 4582 in place of it and the numbers matched exactly. I'm not sure if I need to file an amended return or not now since there are no changes to anything.

brillig

Through the magic of box fans and folding tables and doorways, I achieved something that has been missing for my sleep for weeks now: chilliness, and thus decent sleep.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Open sing tonight, theme is food. This will be the first time in several months that we've gone.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Yay, sleep. Wish I got more of it. Instead I'm hungover and sleepy. I picked my brother up at the airport at 10:30 and took him to my sister's house, where we killed 1.5 bottles of wine and I staggered to bed at 2AM.

I don't think I've been up that late in a couple of years. I am OLD.

Now I have to decide if I want to go on this big group bike ride, or maybe go for a long run myself. I think I'd rather run: I'm out of shape and the ride looks hilly & painful.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

I did stuff today! I folded my laundry, made my bed, did the dishes, scrubbed the toilet, cleaned off my desk, cleaned off the dining room table, and arranged my piles of comics and zines into neater piles of comics and zines.

I still need to dust and vacuum. Oh, shit do I ever need to dust and vacuum. But first, lunch and a haircut.
