Happy Caliversary! Did you dance to "The Caliversary Waltz"? (It's the b-side to "Happy Calibirthday".)
Timelies all!
Happy Caliversary!
Cowboy Junkies "Caliversary Song" would be a good choice. That sounds like a lovely way to commemorate the occasion, Pix!
I finally had to choose a side in Big End vs Little End this morning (I went Big End, although I do not, as yet, feel committed to it). That's right, ate my first soft boiled egg. It was pretty good and did not make me gag at all! I am clearly a very different person than I used to be.
I did not Google "how to eat a soft-boiled egg" before jumping in either. Personal growth.
I did after the first one and before the second, though. And bought a unitasker gadget to take the tops off of eggs. It's not a lot of growth.
No dancing. Way too much wine. But a really fun weekend. The upside to having slept forever is that we are both awake in time to enjoy breakfast before heading back
Excellent!
What winery, btw? I am thinking of signing up for a Diva race at a Temecula winery...
Waiting for a train almost always earworms me with Me&Bobby McGee. Unless I get I Know You Rider
See, whereas it would make me start singing "Sittin' in a railway station/got a ticket for my destination/on a tour of one night stands..."
I was very confused until about the third time I read your post, -t, thinking that Big End and Little End were restaurants or something!
The problem with going to the beach on public transportation is the fine line between my bathing suit drying (enough not to make wet spots on my chest) and getting too hot. But all in all, a successful outing! Now I should get shit done.
What should we do if we think there's a chance of someone killing themselves today?
Era: it's a friend of Anna's who lives in our building. Anna is trying to get the woman's key so she can check up on her during the day.
Not sure if a 911 call is warranted just yet.
