Timelies all!
Sigh...got to daycare and the little guy's got a fever again. I gave him some Infant Motrin, and he's napping now. Somebody's got to stay home with him tomorrow. I have an eye appointment tomorrow, so we need to figure something out.
When I lived in Philadelphia I liked pizzasteaks. Steak, cheese and pizza sauce. (I don't like peppers and onions, though I recognize that they are a traditional part of cheesesteaks.) Eating that these days would not end well for me.
Thanks for the seasoning ideas.
Man, it's just one fucking medical expense after another lately. It's going to be nearly $2,000 for a nurse practitioner to drain an absecss... after insurance. This is why I've vowed to never go the ER again.
Well, I hope you don't mean you would die first. Cause that could end up being a bit literal.
I'm hoping to follow the GOP policy on health care - don't get sick or injured if you can't afford it.
cheesesteak
Cheese Whiz?!
Provolone and grilled steak, peppers maybe, no onions. Cheese Whiz is an abomination. (Who am I kidding, I'd eat it. But it's wrong, and I would ashamed.)
And now my bank's website has gone down right in the middle of paying bills. Well I still need to go to the grocery store, go to the pet store, do laundry, make dinner, do dishes, and do some cleaning tonight. So I think bills can just fuck off until tomorrow.
we leave at the ass crack of morning on Saturday for a weekend with family I haven't really seen in awhile. people I love dearly and who are fun and nice, so that should be good. I think tomorrow I will call and schedule a spa day that I have a gift card for. That is 2 things for July that I can look forward to and then only 3 weeks of August until school starts. I can totally do this. I have wine and beer and work.

I feel this. I just picked out frames for my first-ever bifocals, which are expensive as hell even with insurance. (And I also get prescription sunglasses -- which is my choice, I know -- but that adds another $200 to the total.) And then Friday I get to spend $2,000 for 2 crowns. And my new IBS drug could potentially cost $300 (but probably won't, because it's a brand-name drug that has a discount program, which I am totally using). (And that's assuming that fucking Humana will even cover the drug.)

And Buffistas! Who love you and wish there were answers when there are none. Mindfully taking care of yourself is a good plan.
