This was the first time I've done a mail-in ballot for an election. It's weird not having to go to a church that smells like mothballs and/or urine.

I just had to look it up. It's a tactic used by neo-nazis to identify Jewish people. So people both Jewish and non-Jewish have started using it to defiantly self-identify.
