I made the leap from "seasonal allergies are a histamine 1 hell" to "histamine 2 is an issue with reflux" to "reflux is a disease of the digestive system, and so is IBS", and that wild leap could be totally wrong. I'm just throwing an idea around, not trying to solve it (though I wish I could).

Mine is, for sure. A lot worse, actually. This happens every spring, and I am befuddled by it. There are a lot of anecdotal reports of people whose IBS is worse when seasonal allergies get bad (thank you, internet), but I can't find any real research on it.
Mine too, but I thought I was just imagining it.
