I always get gastric upset when I have a lot of post nasal drip. My doc says it's expected--you swallow a lot of irritating mucus, which upsets your stomach, and the mucus, and the irritation, gets passed into the intestines. Both colds and allergies produce post nasal drip, so I'd think the reaction would be the same, either way.
But Steph's science-y histamine explanation is probably closer to the actual truth.

This week has been slower at work, which is nice, but now I actually have to do work that I've been avoiding. Boo.
It doesn't help that I have a bunch of late meetings with Tokyo & Singapore and a bunch of early meetings with Toronto and Dublin. Sleep deprivation no matter what. Stagger those, mofos!
