this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

ION, I have to stop checking Twitter to get a sense of how the NY Democratic primary is going to turn out. It's just making me crazy. I gotta stick with Nate Silver.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm just spitballing with the histamine thing, actually. I made the leap from "seasonal allergies are a histamine 1 hell" to "histamine 2 is an issue with reflux" to "reflux is a disease of the digestive system, and so is IBS", and that wild leap could be totally wrong.

That's the same leap I was making, anyway.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I suspect going to the vending machine might be less trouble than trying to get a pdf to cooperate with me.

I am waiting for the hour to turn over to go refill my water bottle and maybe buy a coke because I am pretty sure I hit my 250 steps for this hour already so I'm "saving" the ones I have planned until they will count towards a new goal. Probably not how I am supposed to approach this.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Mine is, for sure. A lot worse, actually. This happens every spring, and I am befuddled by it. There are a lot of anecdotal reports of people whose IBS is worse when seasonal allergies get bad (thank you, internet), but I can't find any real research on it.

Mine too, but I thought I was just imagining it.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My FB feed this week has had 3 weddings 2 engagements and 3 baby announcements. I know 1 of the couple ax the rest have been friends comments or liking and me getting notified. Ahhh Spring. Mild single depression.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I always get gastric upset when I have a lot of post nasal drip. My doc says it's expected--you swallow a lot of irritating mucus, which upsets your stomach, and the mucus, and the irritation, gets passed into the intestines. Both colds and allergies produce post nasal drip, so I'd think the reaction would be the same, either way.

But Steph's science-y histamine explanation is probably closer to the actual truth.
