I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

On behalf of everyone who cannot buy those shoes, I have made the purchase. Did not get the $400 boots I really like, because I have self control. For real, I do.

Ahaha, I started it!

I'm sweaty and gross from maybe 5 minutes of yanking ivy and 15 of standing outside chatting as S's car was hauled off for the last time. Freaking sauna out there. And so, so buggy.

And now our long nightmare is over. We can drink the water.

Glad to hear it, Ginger!

What, I'm sure that tipped the scales.

What, I'm sure that tipped the scales.

Well, they did announce the end while I was complaining.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

There seems to be some consensus that when the county offered early retirements in 2010 because of budget cuts, everyone in the water department who knew anything retired.

Unless all those people disappeared off the face of the earth in the intervening five years, this is exactly the sort of situation for emergency consultant positions paying many times their former salaried rates.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm home! I have to go to work tomorrow. That sucks.

I'm avoiding phone calls. Not in the mood.
