Zoe: Is there any way I'm gonna get out of this with honor and dignity? Wash: You're pretty much down to ritual suicide, lambie-toes.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I actually get a weekend! I've spend the day so far reading. I do need to fight with my computer to convince it to talk to printers again. And do taxes.

oh holy hell. my 2014 tax return is still in processing, so I can not file my 2015 return

If you do it on paper you can. I doubt it will speed up processing, but it'll be done.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

If I had the flu, I'd know it, right? I have had a horrible cough/wheezing since Wednesday, but I'm still able to power through for a couple hours at a time - my mom is in town visiting. But I just feel pretty shitty all the time.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sounds like rest would be helpful, whether it's flu or viral.

4 min to 5, let the drinking begin.

It's 10 after 4 over here and the only reason drinking hasn't begun is DH is onerousing through a blocked up sink and I feel like I should wait until we can both enjoy it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Congrats, Jess!

oh holy hell. my 2014 tax return is still in processing, so I can not file my 2015 return. I guess I will be calling IRS office Monday morning. I am sure that is going to go GREAT.

Yiiiikes.

Nora, my understanding of flu vs. not-flu is a high fever, but you can still feel really shitty for a long time without it being the flu!!

I have wine.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Got home a bit ago from the farm. I stayed after training to sort out some stuff for our fundraiser at the end of the month. Somehow I'm handling the paper products for the event in addition to coordinating the volunteers.

Now I'm carless until tomorrow evening. I'm plowing through the volunteer paperwork this evening and snuggling with the puppy. I plan on sleeping in as late as possible tomorrow.

Congrats Jessica and family. May the closing process be as smooth as possible.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Skipping and skimming about 400 posts. (Well really just skipping). I got to try new Trader Joes' dill pickle flavored popcorn. So good I did not buy any for fear I'd treat the 5 portion bag as a convenient single serve. Given ita's love of sour stuff like salt n' vinegar chips, I'll bet she would have liked it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Also, reveal more about this alleged house.

It's a 4-br cape in Ossining, about a mile from the Metro North station (real estate agents will say "walking distance" but because of the way the streets are shaped, it'd be a pretty long walk), across the street from a big park, close to good schools, on a corner lot with a nice backyard. No river views (it's not on a high enough hill), but it's an easy five-minute drive to the waterfront.

We've decided to let the kids have the upstairs, which means both of them will have bigger bedrooms than we will, but (1) we won't have to share a bathroom with them, and (2) they can't leave the house at night without walking past our room, which may come in handy when they're a little older.
