That sucks, meara. I got a little of that while I was out - came back to an email saying "Hey, this thing that seems not have gotten done, what's the status?" To which I replied, essentially "it's not done. I don't have time and it doesn't seem that important. I'll get to it when I can but that won't be soon" Have not heard anything back since then...
Wow, DirecTV's screen saver thing that comes on when I pause the DVR for a while proclaims them to be part of the AT&T family. That's new.
They don't have those shoes in my size, thank god.
It's not a good situation, I think that's clear. And it will become evident once that video is shown. We're just trying to do our best to be prepared for whatever might come out of it.

I really think it's kinda too late for that to happen organically.
From what I can tell, riots *are* part of the organic structure. I remember after the recession in 2007 reading one seemingly decent politician explaining why Congress wasn't doing more for ordinary citizens and the answer was something along the lines of 'well, they don't seem to be that upset, or they'd be rioting and forcing us to do something.'
And on the food front, Liese, I am looking around my house for the official kugel recipe but haven't found it yet. Will post it when I do.
Also in food, I spotted the local sushi burrito truck so I bought a couple minis to try them out. Will report back.

I'm sweaty and gross from maybe 5 minutes of yanking ivy and 15 of standing outside chatting as S's car was hauled off for the last time. Freaking sauna out there. And so, so buggy.
And now our long nightmare is over. We can drink the water.
