I have no idea the tune to that song but I love my mental image of you singing to your cat! Also, you should come visit Seattle! (ETA: ...I might've also had a beer or two...)
Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yay for fun event, shrift! That sounds actually fun.
Aw, Hazel song.
I am so ready for the week t be over, can we all just agree that tomorrow is not a work day? Except there's a going away lunch for a coworker who is retiring (after not quite 20 years, I think? Her husband retired last year and she has been counting the days ever since. She actually hung on an extra month so they could sell their house and buy another one in Vegas before saying goodbye to paychecks) and I like and will miss her, so I guess that's incentive enough to show up. Sigh.
I am not going to work tomorrow! Woot.

I sing "Tokeacabana" to the tune of "Copacabana" to Toke. (Her name is Toke / and she is a kitty...)
I have an entire tune, called "Arthur the Dog-faced Dog."

My cat Pico had his own theme song. (There were imagined opening credits.)
Oz has no songs. He does have about twelve nicknames.
Also, one of our cat toys has a song.
So the new thing is to post April Fool's jokes on March 31 now, since people will be expecting them on April 1? I am not impressed.
Oh, I forgot all about that, Dana. Sigh.
I sing so many songs to the cats and to Walter and to Lucy and sometimes to Cat-who-is-not-my-cat. Of course, I can't think of any right now. "Tonight, tonight, You'll get canned food tonight/ tonight there will be no empty dishes..."
Walter is a dog of constant sorrow. He's known trouble all his days. And it takes a worried dog to sing a worried song.

UGH. The "it's 5 o'clock somewhere!" rule shouldn't apply to April Fool's jokes.
