So, what are the theories on a running mate for Trump. He doesn't play well with others. At all. So, who would he pick?
I suspect Sarah Palin
Great. Dumb and Dumber.
You'd be appalled, if you don't already know it, what thoughts people are willing to express to a white woman with a Southern accent, expecting a sympathetic response.
Man, one time I was outside when a white couple showed up to look at the house for sale across the street. The guy doesn't cross the street to talk to me, but starts yelling questions, like "Do you like living here?" etc., including (yelled at top volume), "Are there..." [pause] "Black people who live around here?"
So I smiled and cheerfully yelled back "Yup, there sure are! It's a great neighborhood!"
SPOILER: They did not buy the house.
In New Orleans someone asked that? There are parts of New Orleans without black people?
Today is just interminable, right?
I think the misogyny is just unspoken, but it's part of many of people's objections.
Basically I just agree with Dana today.

That was me, in Northside.
Though there are plenty parts of New Orleans and the surrounding areas that try very hard not to have black people.
Oh, Cincinnati people! My friends with 10 year old twins will be in your town over Spring break and would like recommendations. I've already talked up the taco district but couldn't remember the official name of your neighborhood, Steph!
Eta I may post and tag you on fb so my friend can see your answers.

What is wrong with people?
What is wrong with me that I can't tell Steph and smonster apart?
There are parts of Northside without black people?
Yeah, I feel like those people didn't really know what neighborhood they were in.

Definitely do that, although I'm guessing flea has more recommendations of stuff to do with 10-year-olds, since I am kidless.
What do they want recommendations for? Stuff to do? Places to eat?
The Museum Center is great for kids who like museums. The ice cave in the Natural History museum is probably the coolest part. The Zoo is very good if the weather is good and they have weeknight concerts in April. If the kids are artsy or even art tolerant the Taft is a small art museum that had a good impressionist show up right now.
Assuming they are not lactose-intolerant vegans, Graeter's obviously.
