We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

-t, your mind would be blown at my dentist. No temp crowns.

My place does this too. Only reason I have a temp bridge right now is to let the gums heal post extraction.

I appear to be signing a lease?! For the Park West place.
It's 40 pages long!

Yowza and Yooo-Hoooo!!! Congrats!!

Today we found out that we are NOT buying a house. The sellers are refusing to fix anything, including 2 things that will prevent us getting insurance if they don't.

Poopy-headed sellers. Keep an eye on the listing through – they may realize they can’t sell without fixing, so maybe that will change?

I need to pick a color for an accent wall. These three seemed to be the ones I liked the best:

Peacock Plume! (I’m noting this before reading further – but how much fun would it be to say that name each time someone asked about the color).

You guys, she texted me back with " I'm crying. We've never had a welcome like this before!"

You are an awesome neighbor, Sara.

we just got our blueberries from him -- it's a 5-pound box, about the size of a shoebox

Oh, NOM!!!! I need to get some blueberries and get baking.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm thinking of buying a bunch of blueberries now and freezing some for baking after baby wen I can eat baked goods again.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, as usual, dear. Mac, you should know by now what happens with you and privileges when you neglect all your everythings and sass your mom on top of it. You should know, hon. Have completely non-electronic fun tomorrow, child!

Matilda and I just got back from an afternoon in Golden Gate Park that included this event and this mini skate park (so much 80s and 90s hip hop, so much Beastie Boys -- I kept wishing I could teleport Allyson up here to bellow along with all the lyrics and soak up all the various folks of various ages and body shapes being both dorky and graceful and utterly shameless about it), and it was all utterly amazing, every second of it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It is the hour of everyone who put off the work that was due Friday and who have just realized that work is due first thing in the morning.

That probably should be me, but I am paralyzed by not caring very much. Also the heat. There may be some synergy between the two.

Have grocery shopped. Have not made, for examples, tomorrow's breakfast and lunch. Or tonight's dinner, but I think I have decided I just don't need an actual meal tonight. I will be in air conditioning tomorrow, though, so probably not so much appetite suppressing going on.

x-post from bitches

Okay, so I was out power walking tonight, and my right leg started to tingle, like it was falling asleep, but I was upright and moving. I kept walking for another 10 minutes or so, then my right arm started to tingle as well. I slowed down, headed home, tingling subsided, but has kept up off and on for the last three hours or so. I've alway s had arms and legs that fell asleep easily (i.e. when I cross my legs or curl an arm under me when I sleep), but I'm wondering if this is something that I should be worried about (as in, should I go to Urgent Care tonight, sleep sitting up in case there's a blood clot, etc.). Thoughts, hivemind?

I have no medical knowledge, but I feel it's better to be safe than sorry. I'd go get an EKG and such to make sure. Please keep us posted.

It could be no big deal, but I would certainly feel better if you went to Urgent Care.

So, the nurse advice line advised me to call 911. I felt really stupid, but I did it (and then ran around frantically cleaning my place). EMTs came, took BP (little high but not unexpected given the fact I'd been told to call 911). Refused transport to hospital, will go to the doctor in the morning.
