Also, Natasha really loves that jump-on-their-shoulders-and-spin-around-their-neck move.

Aww, GI stuff is the worst! you missed Nat choosing to let Steve and Bucky get away from the airport. All of Steve's crew were treated the same way, though Wanda's the only enhanced one: Scott is all suit-based, after all. But I expect a regular prison would still be considered too much of a risk for escape there.
One thing I wished I could have seen was Scott giving pointers on how to be a prisoner; tattoos and making hooch, that sort of thing.
Tom, that would have made a good post credits scene. Or fic.
I have seen the thing. Yes, I got teary.
I don't blame Tony for going postal, they made it clear he's been having a bad time himself, with Pepper gone and reliving the last time he saw his folks at MIT, then the Accords, and then Rhodey. Zemo played it well.
I love T'Challa. His giving up vengeance was very nice, and I liked his line "The living are not done with you" or however that went.
And Spidey was wonderful.
Did Widow say to Bucky "at least you could recognize me" or something like that? Are they going to actually going to tie the Winter Soldier program and the Red Room together?
I hope Clint's wife yells at him a lot. Or he's got a very good plan in place to look after them. Then again, Laura must be used to him disappearing for ages. Perhaps that's where Natasha went off to.
The Sam and Bucky show is worth a re-watch all on its own. The two of them smirking at Steve after he kissed Sharon.
And I'm still on Team Tony.
Popcorn: This really did feel like an Avengers movie, like other people were saying "You know, Ultron . . . yeah . . . I think we need a do over."
But a with-it Bucky with a sense of humor is wonderful.
And everyone yelling at Spidey to stop talking so much.
I just realized, the airport thing was like a giant, painful game of Red Rover. And I think everyone was going "This is bad, but we can come back to it and work it all out after we take care of this other problem," until Rhodey was knocked out of the air.
Threepeat!
The guy playing the shrink who went in to talk to Bucky sounded like Zola to me!
So, second viewing. Still, and even more so, in agreement with Steve. Even before Tony fucked up epically on the Wanda front--epically, unilaterally, without her consent--it was made clear that Ross was, and no doubt many like him were, seeing them as weapons first, people second. It's cleverly done: nowhere near as obvious as in the comics, but still there. And here's the thing: if Steve, himself a man made into a weapon, cannot trust the people around him not to see the weapon first and the man second, how the ever loving fuck can he trust people who don't know them as people at all to make that distinction?
And Oh, Natasha. I cannot articulate my Natasha feelings. Trying so hard to control the situation, knowing when she had to give up that control. It also did feel like they were setting up possible Red Room Winter Soldier history stuff here. Bucky getting his weapons from her locker. The recognition line. The Bucky liking redheads piece.
The whole thing of knowing someone well enough to know when they are telling the truth between Steve and Bucky. Man. And the conversation while he's in the vise. Echos of the conversation with Natasha after Fury's death.
Also The awkwardness of Steve's friendship with Tony, where they like each other, but don't really know each other. They each massively underestimate the damage of the other and it costs them so much.
Connie, except, the actor is actually German and his accent not painful.
One thing they did right that Ultron completely missed was some acknowledgement that Tony gave up the armor but put it back on again, and it caused problems with Pepper. At least the Russos apparently saw the Iron Man movies.
