So far about the only thing I haven't loved on the show is the set design for those glowy underground passages that looks right out of Xena or Sorbo's Jerkules show. All the acting, the writing, the cinematography, etc. is landing perfectly for me.

I finally watched Deadpool v Wolverine. I think the light show at the end would have been a big problem in the theater. I'm not sure if I would have enjoyed it more in the theater but I was left feeling a little...I had questions and stuff I couldn't hist shrug off
Like ...the worst Wolverine and his tragic backstory ..were those the worst X Men as well because...he went out and got drunk and a bunch of humans killed everyone because he wasn't there?
I thought Gambit's powers were done well but I'm glad here is not going to be a Channing Tatum Gambit movie...just no
Er, I just saw a headline the other day about Ryan Reynolds saying D v W had renewed the studio's interest in that project.
I think a Gambit movie could be interesting. I just don't think Channing Tatum is the right guy. Hey need someone who an do a decent accent and not make it sound like a joke or fade in and out (I swear it did maybe that was just me) and someone who has a leaner build and maybe younger.
someone who an do a decent accent
Honestly, it was deliberately over the top (because, Deadpool movie), but it was really not a bad Cajun accent. If he removed the Deadpool Comedy Factor and dialed it down by about 25%, it would be damn good.
He’s just all wrong for Gambit imho. Watching the recent X-Men cartoon made me really sad we never got a proper Gambit.
I've started my holiday re-watch of Hawkeye, and Clint Barton LARPing is never not funny.
I'm pretty sure there was an interview with Tatum and/or Reynolds where they said they had a discussion about how ridiculous/understandable each of his lines were going to be. I imagine a legitimate movie would turn it down quite a bit
That being said, I agree that he's probably not the right choice for the character.
