Marvel Universe: Infinite Chrises
Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
Lately, Disney executives have been pushing back against the gay.
Oh, have they? Well, glad that didn't get in the way here.
I feel that having both Patti Lupone and Aubrey Plaza on this project may have terrified said executives into leaving it alone.
My brother saw Venom: The Last Dance last night and his review is: "fucking incredible." I generally trust him when it comes to comic book movies (Morbius notwithstanding), so do what you will with his 2-word assessment.
Also, Jess posted this back in July about Agatha All Along:
Ugh, FINE, I guess I want to watch this. But they'd better let Kathryn and Aubrey and Patti be REALLY FUCKING WEIRD.
I feel like Marvel met that expectation beautifully.
And, since I think I haven't said it here, if Agatha All Along doesn't bring Wanda back in the end, I will riot.
Man, this last episode of Agatha was really good. That time jumping thing is hard to pull off and it worked really well for me.
Yes! The time-jumping was done really well!
I guess Patti LuPone can check off the E on her EGOT card.
