I think that this is setting up one or more magical gotchas. Either Sylvie is projecting this experience into Loki’s head to get more info, or Loki faked the broken temppad to string Sylvie along for more info or both.

Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
I was thinking she was projecting the experience at one point but it sounded like she had to use memories for that. Although she could, of course, be lying about that.
My thought is, do they really need a working evacuation ark to power up their TARDIS remote, or just some intact part of its drive system that holds sufficient charge?
That makes sense, Matt.
My brother apparently owns an action figure of Kang the Conqueror,* because he just texted me a picture of him holding it, with the comment "No Timekeepers; only Kang." (I didn't whitefont that because it's not even a spoiler as far as I know; it's just speculation, though it's speculation grounded in comics canon.)
*(I, on the other hand, do have a Happy Meal toy of Kang from The Simpsons. For real.)
I demand y'all make your Kang figures duel! And/or kiss. I'm not picky
lokigator
Whaaaaat
I too was coming to say: what the fuuuuuuuuck.
But also, if there's Lokigator then I goddamn want frog Thor, who is comics canon. Or cat Thor, which is also comics canon, but slightly more complicated because it's Loki shapeshifting to be Thor, but Thor as a cat: [link]
Also, now I'm stuck in a philosophical debate that's similar to (but not the same as) Would You Fuck Your Clone? I feel like every version of Loki, in any timeline, would answer a resounding yes. (For the record, I would not fuck my clone, because I get on my own nerves when there's only one of me.) But Loki wouldn't actually be fucking his clone, per se (assuming that Sylvie is a Loki variant and NOT Enchantress, which I still think she is); it would be more like fucking a photocopy.
Yeah, I’m not sure how I feel about that - I do not at all get how anything could make a nexus spike on Lamentis, much less a steeper spike than has ever been seen before. But I also don’t see how young Sylvie could have messed up the timeline playing alone, so I guess I will roll with it for now and hope the sense-making comes later
