I saw ... somewhere ... a brief clip of a young woman news reporter who said she was in an area known for its horses, so she decided to go on site to see a "horse stud". You can see some horses a distance off and - it being Australia - Chris Hemsworth wanders by, says hello and points out the horses, and then delivers the weather report for her.

Well, that's on-brand at least.
aha! Here's a clip of it. Imagine ... you're out, looking for a horse stud, and Chris Hemsworth wanders by.
You know what? Endgame is horribly horribly depressing. It's narratively satisfying (EXCEPT FOR NAT), and I love Fat Hero Thor, and I love Steve wielding Mjolnir, but the movie is so fucking depressing.
(I had to check the internet connection on the Roku and then I clicked on Disney Plus, and here we are.) (I shoulda watched Hamilton instead.)
t edit Okay, I'm watching to the end, and when T'Challa walked out of the portal, I started crying. Fuck cancer, man.
I got Disney Plus at the beginning of the year, and while I appreciated Hamilton I'm mostly using it to watch Winter Soldier over and over again. I've also rewatched several of the other movies, but whenever I see Endgame on the list I just can't bring myself to click on it.

Side note: I've never seen the end of Endgame.
Matilda and I went to see it in the theater and the projector broke down with ten minutes remaining. So no funerals, no Steve sent back in time to Peggy.
We did get four free tickets to other movies out of it.
But you saw them beat Thanos, right? (Spoilers?) Cause, yeah, you're good. I found the time with Peggy lovely when I saw it, but in retrospect it lost its loveliness as I considered the implications.

If you're talking the whole "Steve just let 9/11 happen" thing I have my fingers in my ears and LALALALALALALAICAN'THEARYOU!!
I'm going with the Alternate Timeline theory that the movie sets up. Steve went and gave back all the Stones but one... probably the Time Stone. Then he lives this great life with Peggy where they ran SHIELD and saved Bucky and, hell, maybe even hauled his double's ass out of the ice and it was SUPER AWESOME. And after Peggy died he put on the Quantum Suit, dropped the Time Stone with Bald Tilda Swinton, and went to sit on a bench and wait for Sam.
