That was speculation on my part.

Holy FUCK you guys, Fleabag S2.
We finished Good Omens last night, and awwww. I enjoyed it immensely, and my only real complaint is we didn't get the Other Four Horsemen! But "I'm People Covered In Fish!"
An Easter egg I loved was Pepper's "I believe in peace, bitch!", because that's not the line in the book, but it IS a Tori Amos lyric.
Oh, and Mr. Loomy wants to strangle the digital colorist, because he hates the trend of bumping the color values on any plant life until it's nigh-fluorescent.
I am saving Good Omens to make some of the "I am trapped under a baby" time more fun.
Kid better get here soo, is all I'm saying.
I've got a scheduled power outage this Saturday night starting at 10pm, which sucks, but my reward will be Good Omens on the tablet and/or laptop. Gotta start implementing the "make sure every freaking mobile device (and battery backup) in the house is fully charged by 9:45 Saturday night" plan.

See, I just thought it was the plants all trying to be a green as they possibly could so that Crowley wouldn't have reason to be disappointed in them.
Thanks, DX. I had looked it up in the meantime, but the explanation I saw was more specific, like what Teppy said. I look forward to reading it, either way.
I thought what you did about the plants, btw.
Teppy, you know I'm a sucker for spoilers. I do have to order the book today. Might order two copies, because my daughter is loving the series, and she always steals my books.
I decided to cheat on my family (with my husband's permission of course) and watch the rest of Good Omens on my phone on the train. Ep 2 was weaker than Ep 1 (too many characters to introduce and not enough time to do anything else with them), Ep 3 is back to delightful perfection. The first 30 minutes especially are purest gold.
HOWEVER I must scold the showrunners intensely for their UTTER FAILURE to cast Peter Capaldi as Shadwell. As wonderful as it always is to see Michael McKean in anything, OH MY GOD THE CHARACTER IS A GRIZZLED SCOTSMAN WHO HATES EVERYONE AND MOST OF HIS LINES ARE JUST YELLING INSULTS ARE YOU PEOPLE FUCKING BLIND OR IS THERE SOME KIND OF UNION RULE LIMITING THE NUMBER OF DOCTORS PER SHOW.
(I have also decided that Frances MacDormand's role should have gone to Olivia Coleman. Basically I think this project should have involved fewer Americans.)
Those are constructive notes
My only criticism so far that really feels substantial is that Anathema's accent is all over the place.
