scene was a tough watch
Agreed. We watched that episode tonight, and daaaaaamn.
One thing they didn't include was the explanation of why all the Queen. I read a review where the reviewer was wondering why Queen kept turning up in the soundtrack. I wanted to comment "Read the book!", but it would have involved giving them my e-mail address.
What? All the Queen in the Bentley (no matter what it starts as) is one of my favorite things!
Same, Calli. I didn't intend to, but these thing happen. No regerts
... scene was a tough watch.
That was the one. I haven't read the books, so I was afraid it might be a mockery and my shiny new favorite would sour on me. It was still hard to watch, but not in the way I feared.

I don't know why it is in there, except for that it is in the book (which I knew from fandom cross-pollination, I guess).
That said, even as someone who doesn't know why, it just seemed to me like Crowley characterization -- like it's his jam. I will be reading the book, but is there something more than that?
No regerts
Oh, that tattoo. I hadn't thought of that in a long time, -t. It made me smile.
is there something more than that?
There is! And since you're going to read the book, I won't spoil you.

I will - your choice... It seems that in England all cassette tapes left in a car for more than a fortnight metamorphose into "Best of Queen" albums. It's a thing, apparently. In the US it would probably be "Best of the Eagles" or something.
I thought it was specifically just Crowley's Bentley that turned all tapes into Best of Queen, not other cars.
The book says a car, not the car.
I believe you; I'm just annoyed at myself that my memory is so shitty, considering that I just reread the book.
I don't remember the Queen thing being limited only to cars in England. IIRC it's any cassette in any car.
