Wow, Shir. that puts things in a new light.
My remaining questions are about Chrissy and her boyfreind. and how that was unresolved.

-t, because Max actually died, the fourth gate was opened. They had Lucas say "her heart stopped".

For the record,
I don't think that the big bad of ST is Nazism in any way. Or that it is about WWII. Or at least, I don't read it like this. But the resistance and fight against the upside down and Vecna? Some of it is way too similar to, well, actual WWII history. I like it that I can find parallels in some stories but on a whole, it doesn't make sense in terms of narrative and the greater story here.
So I wonder why the fight here is so damn similar to actual history of a very different fight, or if I'm reading too much into it because of my work.
deleted as I accidentally spoiled trying to read spoiler font on an iPad.
Not to interrupt the Stranger Things discussion, but -- we finished S3 of Umbrella Academy yesterday, and Tim and I have spent most of our waking hours in the past day speculating on all kinds of cracked-out time-travel (or, I guess, universe-resetting) paradox shit, as well as imagining how S4 (if we get S4) could go. I *desperately* want to see Five forced to go to high school because of his physical age. It would be comedy gold. And I'm wondering if Lila is still pregnant in the reset universe. And if she is, I kind of want her to give birth to a tiny floating cube.
And also: Reginald can, as always, die in all the fires. He is the absolute worst, in any timeline.
That’s what I thought, Dana, but Hawkins seems more post disaster than current End of the World so I feel like I don’t know what is happening.
Umbrella Academy: Lila better be pregnant after all that work getting everyone (her, Diego, me) on board with the idea! I don’t know if I’m down for baby floating cube.
I am really curious if Five will start aging normally now. It seems like a natural outcome but who knows? And what will that be like? Is there still a Commission and did he still found it somehow?
I assume Luther is going to go find Sloane, and are the other Sparrows out there? What is Christopher like in this universe?
Refusing to consider the possibility of not getting season 4
I think there's going to be another season of Umbrella Academy. "Netflix Top 10: ‘Umbrella Academy’ Season 3 Usurps ‘Stranger Things 4’ With 125 Million Hours Watched": [link]
Heh. I just realized that Gerard Way has probably made much more money off Umbrella Academy than he did with My Chemical Romance and MCR already made him a millionaire.

That sounds like signs point to renewal.

And I thought he was relatable because he said he was “older than trees” many years ago when I was older than him. And now we are all older than Five, who is older than us…
What’s with Only Murders In the Building not dropping until 9pm? That seems very unstreaming, Hulu.
