Not to interrupt the Stranger Things discussion, but -- we finished S3 of Umbrella Academy yesterday, and Tim and I have spent most of our waking hours in the past day speculating on all kinds of cracked-out time-travel (or, I guess, universe-resetting) paradox shit, as well as imagining how S4 (if we get S4) could go. I *desperately* want to see Five forced to go to high school because of his physical age. It would be comedy gold. And I'm wondering if Lila is still pregnant in the reset universe. And if she is, I kind of want her to give birth to a tiny floating cube.
And also: Reginald can, as always, die in all the fires. He is the absolute worst, in any timeline.

Umbrella Academy: Lila better be pregnant after all that work getting everyone (her, Diego, me) on board with the idea! I don’t know if I’m down for baby floating cube.
I am really curious if Five will start aging normally now. It seems like a natural outcome but who knows? And what will that be like? Is there still a Commission and did he still found it somehow?
I assume Luther is going to go find Sloane, and are the other Sparrows out there? What is Christopher like in this universe?

Indeed. DH keeps asking what the hell with all the daddy issues in fiction. If I have to wait as long for S4 as we had to wait for S3 I will cry and cry. Has there been any discussion?

Umbrella Academy's method is to make one (1) bastard breathtakingly abusive in every possible timeline, while Ted Lasso spreads out the daddy issues with many fathers/father figures who, while shitty in their own ways, don't come close to Reginald Hargreeves. Even Jamie Tartt's dad is nothing compared to Reginald.
