also: Reginald can, as always, die in all the fires. He is the absolute worst, in any timeline.
Indeed. DH keeps asking what the hell with all the daddy issues in fiction. If I have to wait as long for S4 as we had to wait for S3 I will cry and cry. Has there been any discussion?
Haven't watched the new Only Murders. Need to get on that.

Umbrella Academy's method is to make one (1) bastard breathtakingly abusive in every possible timeline, while Ted Lasso spreads out the daddy issues with many fathers/father figures who, while shitty in their own ways, don't come close to Reginald Hargreeves. Even Jamie Tartt's dad is nothing compared to Reginald.
Heh. I just realized that Gerard Way has probably made much more money off Umbrella Academy than he did with My Chemical Romance and MCR already made him a millionaire.
Well, it does feature better music after all.
(Sorry Jilli!)
What did people think of Ryan Gosling vs The Pornstache?
I probably would have enjoyed it more in the theater, but at home I could barely pay attention. Literally, when I read your post, I thought "Oh yeah, I meant to watch that.... oh wait, I did watch that."
Ha! I keep forgetting whether I meant to watch it or not. Either way it's behind a lot of things I definitely do intend to watch and haven't yet...
Like Only Murders in the Building and Loot, which have the advantage that I was, at a fairly recent point in time, caught up on them and could be again...
OMG I can finally talk about Sandman!! (We've been watching the press screeners all week and finished last night but it was embargoed until today, so!)
Anyway, I really loved it EXCEPT for the actor who plays Dream, who is way too much of a human person for what that character needs. (I imagine it was a nearly impossible role to cast, given that actors are, in fact, human persons, but the ratio of Dream Of The Endless, Infinitely Old And Powerful Monarch and Dream Of The Endless, Stubborn Emo Brat was not quite correct for me here.)
Fortunately, they more than made up for it with Death. And Lucifer.
I have been pleasantly surprised by how well they are doing little things that I expected to just fall by the wayside like stars in eyes. Also, I am needing substantial pauses between episodes to absorb and adjust.
Prey
was much better than I expected it to be.
Also had some excellent photography of some gorgeous locations.
