I'm honestly not sure I could consciously replicate the noise I made during a certain part of that scene.
Did it sound like [screech of joyful disbelief only dolphins could hear]?
I do think he's an attractive man, but who knew that the middle-aged, long-haired leather biker look was gonna kick it up to 11?
Right?!? I have always been "You have spicy brains and appear to be kind of a goof, let us hang out and talk for hours" about him, and then THAT showed up on my screen.
I really want to see OFMD , I'm following a lot of stuff on Tumblr. At first I wasn't sure but now I'm like -- I want it. But I don't have HBOMax.
HBO Max and Discovery Plus are going to be merged or bundled or something because of the ..whatever merger that is causing us to go closer and closer to an epic entertainment monopoly. I may wait and see what the pricing will be for that and decide about getting HBO Max.

The first episode of OFMD is free on HBOMax -- you can watch without having an account/login. And if you have Hulu, you can add HBOMax for a 7-day free trial, which is plenty of time to binge-watch 10 episodes.

Oooh, OK. I've been thinking of getting Discovery+ to feed my unfortunate home reno show addiction, and I couldn't justify adding that and HBOMax. But word of Taika Waititi Hotness had me conflicted. This might solve that quandry.
OFMD is a fast watch, very enjoyable. I also watched Bridgerton this weekend - didn't like this season as much as the first one. But watching those two close together and then reading The League of Gentlewomen Witches made for some nice thematic leisure time. I would like more pirates now, please.
Apparently Our Flag Means Death is not available on HBO Max on Hulu. oh never mind I see I have to go to hbo max and sign in with a provider (hulu) and now I can watch OFMD
Yes! Everyone join me in the brainrot!
askye, the Max exclusive stuff cannot be watched on Hulu. You can only watch them the way you ended up doing it.
Yeah. So this also means I can watch Gentleman Jack.
Ok so I was worried OFMD would be an issue for me to watch because of the whole--Stede trying and not being good at what he is doing and having people talk about him, etc. I can't watch The Office because of that. It just brings up a lot of uncomfortable emotional stuff. BUT I realize that there is a lot of support in OFMD and it doesn't turn into what I feared. However I'm kind of skimming through a bunch of episodes so I could kind of get an idea of the level of that and now I'm going back and watching it.
I've been finding OFMD to be somewhat cringeworthy and difficult to watch, too. But then again, I've been having trouble watching all kinds of seemingly innocuous stuff since the pandemic.
