I thought I'd let you know that Daddy died on August 16 after a brief illness. We're having his memorial service this Saturday, September 6 at 11am JA time. It will be livestreamed so if there's anyone from ita's circle who'd like to watch, the link is below.

Remembering omnis_audis on his birthday, today. I hope BC knew how important he was to so many.
I didn't know BC well. But we did play the BSG game on here and it was so much fun. I was thinking of him when I was at the Comicon last Sunday.
Also ita. I saw a bad ass Storm cosplay the woman was in Storm's leather pants, leather vest, white tank outfit. And then seeing all the amazing and talented Black artists there.
I've been watching "You're The Worst" and saw Samira Wiley yesterday.
Thinking of Ginger today on her birthday. She is indeed missed.
she comes up in my contacts a lot, but I don't erase it.
Same with Amyth. And JZ. I still have voicemails from Amy and JZ that I’ve saved to a hard drive.
Today is a day to remember DXM on his birthday. It is a tough thread because we have lost so many, but it is also a reminder that we would never have had these people in our lives if it weren't for this place. I think of Ed so often and miss his warmth and spicy brains. I'm so grateful to have known him.
I COMM-ed him a lot. There have been a lot of us, so I'm not sure I ever get to know any one person as I might want to in a perfect world, but I enjoyed his company while I had it.
