I'd say something along the lines of the ability to remain calm and collected in the face of virtually any trauma. You guys, a friend of ours has been dealing with chronic bad migraines after getting a concussion last year. And there is literally nothing I can say to him or his fiance, because all I can think of is ita.*
Though he's a straight white middle-class dude, so I imagine his medical care will be vastly better than hers.
*(I do know that chronic migraine can be treated more effectively than ita's was, and I hope that my friend's migraine is responsive to treatment. But I just remember everything she went through, and I worry for him.)
